Basal magnetic anisotropy of a weak ferromagnetic FeBO3 crystal
The antiferromagnetic resonance method is used to measure the magnetic anisotropy in the basal plane of FeB03 crystals. The existence of a compensation temperature at which the hexagonal anisotropy constant changes sign is established. Temperature hysteresis of the resonant field is observed in the vicinity of compensation point.
