Mechanisms for the absolute negative photoconductivity of insulators
Malinovskii V. K., Novikov V. N., Sturman B. I.
The microscopic mechanisms for negative photoconductivity of insulators (jph = ÁÒߣ> °~Òß < Q) have been detected for the first time. In models for hopping photoconductivity, the dominant contribution to the current is associated with the field-induced asymmetry of the photoexcitation and recombination of electrons. The sign of aph(co) is predicted to change as the light absorption moves through a resonance.
