Edge luminescence of excitons in ionic crystals
Electron-excited edge luminescence of nonrelaxed electrons, adjacent to the long-wave absorption bands and quenched by heating, was observed for the first time in the crystals Nal, KI, Rbl, and Csl at 67 °K.
