Role of pion rescattering and nucleon exchange in the final state in the reaction (π-, nn)
Using 4 He as an example, it is shown that in the reaction (ir~, tin) the pion rescattering effect plays a decisive role at small momentum transfers, while the effective exchange between all nucleons in the final state plays a major role at large transfers. This leads to the appearance of corresponding two maxima, in agreement with the recently obtained experimental data.ll0]
