High ionic conductivity in the compounds Li3Fe2(P04)3 and Li3Sc2(PO4)3

Orthorhombic modifications of the compounds Li3Fe2(P04)3 and Li3Sc2(P04)3 have been synthesized. The lithium-ion conductivity at 600 К reaches values (2 — 5)X 10-2 mho/cm, which are comparable to those of the best reported previously for solid electrolytes containing lithium. The atomic structure of the compound Li3Fe2(P04)3 has been determined.
