Structural feature at 50 GeV/c in the mass spectrum of the φπ- system in the reaction π- + Cu → μ+ + μ- + π- + ...
The yield of φ mesons has been studied as a function of the effective mass of the μ+μ~π~ system in the reaction 77-~-|-Οι->μ++μ_+77-~ + ...at 50 GeV/c. The results indicate a structural feature in the φττ~ system with a mass 1.4 GeV and a width < 100 MeV.
