Gravity-induced emf in superionic conductor RbAg4I5
The electric field arising due to redistribution of mobile Ag+ cations under the action of gravity is observed experimentally in the superionic conductor RbAg4I5. It is shown that under the experimental conditions the action of gravity on mobile cations is equivalent to the action of an emf.
