Tunneling between conductors with a charge-density wave
The current through а Ρχ-Ι-Ρ2 tunnel junction [Ph2 are conductors with a charge-density wave (CDW)] is calculated. It is shown that aside from a term proportional to the product of the densities of states, the current includes a term containing cos (χχ χ2), where xh 2 are the phases of the CDW.
