Measurement of the beta spectrum of 235U fission fragments and the problem of reactor spectra

The results of a measurement of the beta spectra of the products of 235U fission by thermal neutrons are presented. The conflicting situation, which arises in comparing the calculated β " and vespectra with the experimental β ~ spectra and vespectra that are obtained in neutrino experiments in nuclear reactors, is discussed.
