Quantum oscillations in the longitudinal thermoelectromotive force a33 in bismuth and in the alloy Bi97Sb3 at Τ = 7.7 К are explained in terms of an interband scattering of L electrons into a quantized Η hole band. The interband scattering parameter is evaluated.
