Separation of the transverse and longitudinal components of the cross section for pion electroproduction on a proton at the threshold
We report the results of inelastic scattering of electrons by protons at the threshold at к2 = 5F~2. We determine the quantities |E0+| and jS0+|» from which we obtain the values of the axial-vector form factor of the nucleon and the form factor of the pion.
