Magnetoelectric effect in lead manganate
We report experimental observation of the magnetoelectric effect in single-crystal lead manganate (PbMn204) below 82°K. It is concluded that below this temperature lead manganate is a ferroelectric antiferromagnet with weak ferromagnetism.
