Surface Excitons of Electron-hole Type and Collective Phenomena Associated with Them
We discuss the question of surface excitons of the electron-hole type (their binding energy is calculated in the "macroscopic" approximation). Mention is made of a number of possibilities that arise when the concentration of the surface excitons in-cre ases.
