Light scattering from parametric spin waves in Y3Fe5O12 under longitudinal pumping
We observed in experiment inelastic scattering of light by parametric spin waves with k=£0 in Y3Fe5012 following excitation of nonlinear ferromagnetic resonance (NFMR) by longitudinal pumping. The scattered-light spectrum contains satellites whose frequencies differ from that of the incident light (λ = 0.63 μπι) by an amount v/2 (v is the frequency of the microwave pump field).
