The anomalous behavior of the temperature dependences of the resistivity and magnetic susceptibility indicates that in the compounds HfV2 and ZrV2 a phase transition takes place with partial dielectrization of the electron spectrum. At temperatures below the transition temperature a nonlinear increase of the conductivity in an electric field is observed.
