Effect of large-scale inhomogeneities on the phase transition in ferroelectric triglycin sulfate single crystals
Strukov B.A., Yakushkin E.D.
An influence of large-scale inhomogeneities on the elastic anomalies of triglycin sulfate crystals has been observed near the phase-transition temperature. It is shown that in a defect-free crystal no anomalous "peaks" are observed in the temperature dependence of the elastic modulus at (Г—Гс|£0.02 К, and that the jump predicted by the Landau-Ginzburg theory is observed at the phase-transition point.
