Background process in the DESY observation of ρ' (1100)
In connection with the resonant structure observed at DESY in the reaction yp^-e +e ~p at a lepton-pair mass 1.1 GeV, we consider a production mechanism that was not taken into account in the reduction of the experimental data. The corresponding amplitude changes strongly in this region.
