Asymmetry of motion of domain wall in an orthoferrite crystal
We investigated the domain structures of single-crystal YFe03 and DyFe03 with deformed surface layers. We observed that the character of the domain-wall motion depends essentially on the direction of wall displacement and on the magnetization direction in the surface layer.
