Transfer of electronic excitation during the course of vibrational relaxation
A theory is proposed for the transfer of electronic excitation, during the course of vibrational relaxation, for a donor and acceptor that interact strongly with the vibrations of the nuclei. It is shown that Weber's effect 121 is explained by this mechanism of electronic-excitation transfer.
