Anomalies of the dispersion of single-crystal CdS in the region of exciton absorption
Direct measurements of the dispersion curve inside the A -exciton band of the CdS crystal were performed at Γ=4.2°Κ. An appreciable deviation of the shape of this curve from the classical shape is observed and ascribed to the appearance of spatial-dispersion effects.
