Study of the reaction π^- + d → p +4 all with maximum momentum transfer to the proton in the primary momentum interval from 1.68 to 3.28 GeV/c

The cross section of the reaction 7r~+d—>p + all (with the proton emitted forward) (1) was measured in the interval from 1.68 to 3.28 GeV/c. A rapidly decreasing dependence of the cross section on the primary π ~-meson energy was observed, similar to the energy dependence of the reaction π ~ + p—>p+ all (2). The cross section of the reaction π~+ η—>p + all (3) was determined from the difference of the reactions (1) and (2).
