Radiative Decay of Exciton at the K edge of Li* in LiF
We have observed in the x-ray spectrum of LiF a band at 60.6 eV, which is resonant with the initial structure of the Li+ К absorption spectrum in LiF, and indicates that a bound state of the electron (exciton) is produced and undergoes radiative decay at the given absorption edge.
