Anisotropy of parametric excitation of magnons in antiferromagnetic CsMnF3
A strong hexagonal anisotropy of the threshold field of parametric magnon excitation was observed in CsMnF3 at a pump frequency vp = 18 GHz along the direction of the static field Η in the basal plane of the crystal. The experiments performed seem to point to an anisotropic excitation of magnons in k-space.
