Magnetic ordering of Mn2+and Cr3+ ions in the garnet Mn3Cr2Ge3O12

The magnetic structure of the spins of Mn2+ in the dodecahedral sites and the spins of Cr3+ in the octahedral sites of the garnet íÐÚóÇ20ÅÚ012 is determined by a neutron-diffraction method. The magnetic ordering in each of the sublattices sets in independently at 3.9 and 5.çë, respectively.
