Termoelectric Properties of Quasi-one dimensional Platinum Complexes
The thermoelectric power of crystals of quasi-one-dimensional complexes of platinum K2Pt (CN) i,Bro •2.3H20 (1) and K2Pt(CN) ..Clo .3'3.6H20 (2) was in" vestigated in a wide temperature range in the direction along the chains of the platinum atoms and in the transverse direction. An appreciable ani-sotropy of the thermoelectric power was observed at low temperatures. Results of the measurements contradict the metal-chain model proposed by Kuse and Zeller to explain the electronic properties of quasi-one-dimensional complexes.
