Mossbauer Spectrum Asymmetry Resulting from Anisotropic Diffusion

It is shown that anisotropy of the diffusion of Mossbauer atoms can lead under definite conditions to a new type of asymmetry of poly crystalline samples whose γ-resonant spectra have a hyperfine structure (hfs), namely, to different widths of the hfs components .
