Change in the superconducting transition temperature in the Cu1.8-xNixMo6S8 system
The effect of a nickel impurity on the superconducting transition temperature Tc of Cu, 8Mo6S8 in the Cu, g_xNixMo6Sg system has been studied. In contrast with the behavior Tc (x) for compounds of SnMo6Sg with Fe, the behavior Tc (x) for CU[ g_xNixMo6S8 is markedly at odds with the theoretical Abrikosov-Gor'kov behavior. The results are discussed.
