A dependence of pair production of hadrons with large PT
The A dependence of the production of pairs of charged hadrons has been measured. When the A dependence of the invariant cross section is approximated by a function Λ "2, the exponent a2 does not exceed unity anywhere in the PT range from 0.46 to 2.27 GeV/c. The exponent a2 is found to depend on the nature of the particles.
