Abstract
It is shown that in the argon discharge plasma it is possible to
obtain the overpopulation of certain electronic levels of atomic argon under
the influence of acoustic waves. When the specified threshold is overpassed,
then a superluminescence (in the form of light flashes) from the
overpopulated electronic levels of atomic argon is observed.
