Abstract
The insulating state of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]I salt
appearing at ambient pressure at low temperatures is suppressed by
hydrostatic pressure. The resistive measurements showed that in high-quality
crystals the emerging metallic state reveals superconductivity. The
superconducting state with the transition temperature of about 8 K is stable
at pressures higher than 0.1 GPa.
