Universal magneto-luminescence kinetics in the magnetically frozen 2D electron system
Kinetics of recombination of electrons and acceptor-bound holes in AlGaAs-GaAs heterostruture obey the single-exponential decay in the liquid phase of 2D electrons, whereas the localization gives rise to a broad spectrum of recombination rates, especially in the magnetic freeze-out regime. This results in the power-law dependence J(t) oc (r/t)a at the tail of recombination kinetics, which has the universal exponent α™(1 — i/)-1 at и < 1 for all samples examined experimentally in this work.
