Quasiparticle dynamics and phase locking in a S-I-S multilayer Josephson junction
We obtain new dynamical equations describing the Joscphson effect and nonequilibriuxn quaeiparticle distribution in a multilayer Josephson tunnel structure at Τ ~ Tc starting from the microscopic theory. It is shown that qu&siparticle dynamics has a strong influence on the Josephson effect. We find novel regimes with giant charge imbalance oscillations. New type of hysteresis on the voltage-current characteristic is predicted. PACS: 74.40.-j-k, 74.50.-fi, 74.80.Dm
