Inevitability of the formation of periodic structures in quasi-2D planar magnetic materials and type II superconductors
The transition to the normal state in quasi-2Z> superconductors may go through an intermediate incommensurate phase consisting of a ID lattice of normal planes. Arguments are presented in favor of this possibility. Similar conclusions hold for quasi-2Z> magnetic materials.
