Frequency dispersion of the conductivity of metal-oxide superconductors
Kulik I. O.
The conductivity of local pairs in the normal state of a metal-oxide superconductor is inversely proportional to the temperature Τ and decreases with the frequency in accordance with σ( ω) =σ0/(\ + ω2/ω%), where the cutoff frequency is ω0= Г0Т/ТС and Г0 ~10ns-J. The observation ofthis dependence at low frequencies would be evidence of an exotic (electron-pair) mechanism for the mobility of metal-oxide compounds and of a Bose condensation of pairs as a possible mechanism for high-temperature superconductivity.
