Phonon superconductivity mechanism in strongly correlated systems

The renormalization of Tc for the electron-phonon pairing mechanism, with a formally exact allowance of the electron-electron coupling in the normal phase, has been calculated. The electron-phonon mechanism was found to be strongly suppressed in the marginal Fermi-liquid state and it does not lead to superconductivity near the Mott-Hubbard transition.
