Quark and lepton masses in a model with a discrete symmetry

A model with η = 2P (ρ — 14) heavy Higgs doublets and a Z„ symmetry is studied. After spontaneous breaking of the Zn symmetry, realistic mass matrices for the quarks and leptons are easily reproduced in the model and the moduli of all the Yukawa constants are equal.
