Pole approximation for decays of neutral K mesons
A description of the K°~K° system without the use of the Weisskopf-Wigner approximation is discussed. Without any assumptions regarding the structure of the Hamiltonian, it is shown that an exponential time dependence is associated with two combinations, Ks and KL. If there is CP violation, the structure of Ks and KL contains an apparent violation of CPT invariance.
