Finite-time heavy quark interaction in QCD
Heavy qq interaction is studied at a finite time Г. The nonperturbative background formalism is used to calculate the averages of Wilson loops to lowest order in g2. The generalized formula of perturbative interaction VP(R,T) is obtained. It is shown that for the finite time, T^SR, VP(R,T) essentially differs from Coulomb potential. Our analytical results are in good agreement with lattice calculations. © 1995 American Institute of Physics.
