Reduction of additional dimensions in nonuniform quantum Kaluza- Klein cosmological models
It is shown that the early stage of the evolution of the universe with η < 10 is characterized by the fact that the volume of an arbitrary spacelike hypersurface with dimension m<n — 2 is compressed. It is shown that this behavior does not depend on the choice of the initial quantum state and can provide a mechanism for reducing the additional spatial dimensions. © 1995 American Institute of Physics.
