Influence of localization and correlation effects in the scattering on the conductivity in the ultraquantum limit

The motion of an electron in a degenerate semiconductor in a strong magnetic field is analyzed on the basis of a semiclassical description. The localization and correlation in the scattering are taken into account. The conductivity along the magnetic field and perpendicular to it σ, at low temperature is determined.
