Spectrum and splitting of p-wave mesons
A relativistic potential model is used to analyze the spectrum and fine structure. A mixing of light and heavy /?-wave mesons is taken into account. A limiting transition to a Dirac equation with an infinitely heavy quark is analyzed. The role played by chiral effects for light mesons is discussed.
