Mesoscopic fluctuations of the conductance of a 2D electron gas in a periodic array of antidots have been studied experimentally, for the first time. These fluctuations have an anomalous temperature dependence. It results from an unusual distribution of interfering trajectories with respect to area. The results indicate that mesoscopic conductivity fluctuations are not a universal effect in an electron billiard, in contrast with the situation in a disordered conductor.
