Stability of the critical state of a type-II superconductor subjected to a finite temperature perturbation
Romanovskii V. R.
On the basis of a critical-state model it is shown that finite temperature perturbations strongly influence the conditions for the occurrence of a thermomagnetic instability in a type-U superconductor. General conditions for adiabatic stability of the screening currents induced by an external magnetic field are formulated.
