Temperature dependence of the critical current of a granular superconducting medium
A nonuniform current distribution can arise in a network of Josephson and tunnel junctions dominated by the latter. The critical val ue of the average current density, i.e., the value at which the Josephson links are destroyed, will accordingly fall off with decrea sing temperature.
