Polarizability of π mesons
The amplitude for the reaction γγ^ππ is calculated in a nonlocal quark model. Numerical values are found for the electric (απ) and magnetic [βπ) polarizabilities of the pions; απ± ~ 0.40a/ml, βπ±~ —0.39 a/ml, a^o = ОЛа/ml, = — OAa/ml.
