Variable-range hopping conductivity in a strong magnetic field
Shklovskii B. I.
During nonresonant subbarrier tunneling in a transverse magnetic field, scattering by impurities causes the r dependence of the transparency to become exp( — 2r/b ), in contrast with the dependence exp( — τ^/ΐλ 2) without scattering. This change explains the experimentally observed temperature dependence of the variable-range hopping conductivity in a magnetic field.
