Pionium in decays of elementary particles
Atomic decays of elementary particles which give rise to pionium, i.e., an atom consisting of positively and negatively charged pions, are discussed. The relativistic correction to the lifetime of pionium is calculated. The possibility of studying these decays at meson factories is discussed. © 7994 American Institute of Physics.
