Possible scenario for the birth of galaxies
A model which has galaxies forming as the result of an agglomeration of spherical clouds of neutral hydrogen is analyzed at a quantitative level. An approximate expression is derived for the time of "collapse" of the matter, accompanied by the formation of galaxies. The duration of the agglomeration process is calculated. © J 994 American Institute of Physics.
