New approach to radiative transitions in charmonium
Radiative decays of the type J /φ —> η γ, φ' —» χ0γ are considered within the framework of the dispersion theory of charmonium. It is shown that for some decays of this type the J —dominance is parametrically accurate—corrections to it are S0[as(mc)] and are negligibly small. The predicted width of J/φ~^ηαγ amounts to ~3.2keV if m„ = 2.977 GeV. */<■
