Amplifications of far infrared radiation in germanium during the population inversion of "hot" holes
We show the possibility of enhancing the far infrared (FIR) radiation A ~40-400 μτη due to interband transitions in the valence band of Ge in the case of overpopulation of the light sub-band in crossed electric Ε and magnetic В fields at a temperature TS 100 K.
